To keep the road in front of you safe, Andrew keeps all aspects of road safety front of mind. Andrew is a Senior Transportation Leader working with a large team of professionals, spanning all transportation disciplines. Andrew brings over 25 years' experience and knowledge in road safety to his role as a senior principal road safety and traffic engineer. His technical oversight and expert advice is highly sought, particularly for leading tender evaluations, and engaging contractors.
He believes road safety starts at the earliest stages of a project, from concept and design, and continues through construction and operation. This also sets him apart; his broad experience contributes to a wide range of projects—accessibility assessments, urban streetscapes, subdivisions—across various phases, from investigations and optioneering, to design and construction procurement and management.
Among the many projects he’s worked on, he is especially proud of the work he’s done improving safety on Wellington region’s highways since 2011. Outside of work, Andrew keeps off the road and heads into his garden or goes diving.
