Mary has worked from coast to coast, focusing on aquatic and terrestrial parts of environmental assessments and environmental effects monitoring to support clients across all sectors. She provides leadership to our ecosystems staff and services in Canada, and she’s leading the growth of Stantec’s environmental DNA (eDNA) services.
These eDNA tools will improve biological surveys, rare species assessments, and invasive species determinations. As time and cost-saving measures, DNA-based tools can raise the confidence of clients and regulators in making decisions that protect the environment.
Living in Fredericton on the east coast with her husband Eric, three kids, and a big poodle named Rudy, Mary loves outdoor activities in winter and summer and getaways.
