As a passionate water resources professional, Keil has helped clients understand the influence of water in the environment and its effect on infrastructure since 2005. Using detailed hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, spatiotemporal information, flood inundation and downstream consequences assessments, probabilistic flood hazard analyses, and quantification of risk and uncertainty, he helps clients make informed decisions to protect their assets and communities.
Keil’s career accomplishments include leading programmatic flood risk initiatives and outreach. He also coordinates, scopes, and manages water resources work and collaboration between private and public constituents. A particularly notable accomplishment of Keil’s is pioneering an improved approach to assessing and reviewing flood hazard information to enrich risk-informed decision-making processes.
Outside of the office, Keil enjoys spending time with his family in Colorado and loves playing and exploring in the mountains, rivers, and seas.
