Qualified as a civil engineer, James has over 25 years of experience as a transport planning consultant within the development, planning, and infrastructure markets.
An experienced multidisciplinary project director, James leads the residential, industrial, and commercial projects in the private sector—most notably the recent delivery of the Leigh Road Bridge project. He has also advised the public sector on individual projects including Reading Station and HS2.
Key areas where James excels from a transport planning perspective include site allocations, conceptual design and master planning, cost and risk appraisal, transport assessment and modelling, travel planning, technical evidence, stakeholder negotiation, and infrastructure procurement practices. James has a good appreciation of other technical areas through his project management and leadership of multidisciplinary projects.
