Based in New York, Antonis is a transit systems engineer with experience in integration, signaling, communications, power, and train control. He’s been with the Company since 2009 and worked on transit infrastructure projects for a variety of clients worldwide in the years since.
Antonis is the transit systems lead for North America and leads a growing team of systems engineers. This team provides transit design, owner’s engineering support, transit planning, and testing/commissioning support. The systems group is also working with emerging technologies in the transit sector such as autonomous vehicles, radio communications, and electrification to encourage energy efficient transit systems and environmentally friendly mass transit solutions. Currently, Antonis is the systems design lead for the $1.9 billion design-build 10-mile commuter rail expansion for Long Island Rail Road.
Outside of work, Antonis plays violin in the Greenwich Village Orchestra in New York City. He’s an avid golfer, tennis player, and motorsports fan.
