Steve is passionate about the history of great western civilizations and the development of North America’s major cities. This passion steered him toward the urban planning and architecture fields more than 15 years ago. His diverse expertise includes urban regulations, architectural heritage, urban design, project management, commercial development, and international development, in the context of complex and sensitive urban environments.
Steve’s international experience stems from his leading role in land use planning and management projects in Asia and the Caribbean, as well as from his participation in major development projects in Haiti. He has also worked on adapting the principles of form-based code to the Quebec urban planning context.
Steve is a member of Stantec’s Urban Places team, which brings together urban design leaders. He avidly discusses best urban planning practices and collaborates on various North American planning projects.
