A senior principal within our Innovation Office, Gus provides leadership for our innovative business opportunities (IBOs). While strategizing with teams to develop pathways to commercialize innovative ideas for launch and growth, he encourages principled yet creative thinking—to tackle the challenges of growing new businesses in a competitive environment.
Gus also leads the CataVAULT IBO, which focuses on assisting insurance agencies and others to better prepare for and handle the impacts of catastrophic events. He’s passionate about helping organizations increase their resiliency and ability to address climate change and the associated economic impacts when natural catastrophes occur. His goal is to increase this resiliency across the globe to reduce the economic effects that result from natural disasters, particularly in developing regions.
When he’s not at work, Gus is happiest spending time outdoors with friends and his family.
