Nicolette is passionate about addressing the needs of communities surrounding mine sites. She believes mining greatly contributes to economic prosperity and values supplying the world with the metals and minerals society needs to thrive.
The need for mining creates a need to mine better and cleaner, which is why Nicolette applies her ISSP Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA) certification to our work. Alongside her sustainability role, she manages key aspects of business planning, marketing, and business development that advance the mining business line’s sustainability initiatives. As a previous technical writer and editor for mine studies, she understands the greatest impact for more sustainable mining comes from the project design phase and now facilitates our Sustainable Mining by Design™ initiative. She supports multidisciplinary efforts to improve our clients’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Outside of work, Nicolette promotes industry education as a local board member for the Society of Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration.
