Roel has over 20 years of experience in the Dutch energy sector. As a project and program manager, he’s completed multiple complex projects and programs and is active in different working groups.
Recently, Roel has been advising directors and management of grid operators in sector-wide energy transition programs for the Netherlands. He has a large network at all levels within network operators, governmental organizations, regulators, energy suppliers and market parties. Roel is pragmatic, energetic, and driven. He focuses on goals, thinks about opportunities, and removes obstacles—through his commitment, knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to connect, goals are achieved.
In both business and in private, Roel contributes to the energy transition: his home is almost energy neutral. He also enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, skiing, and working on automating his home.
