Stephen leads our design team across the North of the United Kingdom, specializing in providing strategic advice to clients, negotiating, master planning, and engagement. He works for a variety of public and private sector clients and has an extensive portfolio of large-scale developments, from the regeneration of urban places to the design of new settlements.
As a former convener of the Royal Town Planning Institute in Scotland and a founding member of Architecture and Design Scotland, Stephen has operated at the highest level on major development and regeneration projects for the last 25 years. His extensive experience in delivering nationally important developments has given him insight into many high-profile initiatives including the growth of Aberdeen Harbour, Maltkin Village, and the 2014 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village.
When he isn’t advising clients on their developments, Stephen is a keen snowboarder, kayaker, and outdoor enthusiast.
