Bryan is a leader in geotechnical design for the mining industry. He’s experienced in leading design teams and performing independent reviews of mine waste and heap leach facilities and is particularly skilled at building relationships with key industry contacts.
With over 30 years of experience, Bryan has participated in all aspects of the design of tailings and heap leach facilities in the US and around the globe. He’s considered an expert in use and interpretation of in situ tests, propensity for static and earthquake-induced liquefaction, and slope stability analysis. Bryan was also on the organizing committee for South Africa’s first major conference on heap leaching and initiated the Elko Roundtable Discussion seminar series in Nevada.
While some say, “don’t bring me problems, bring me solutions”, Bryan is a problem solver—he enjoys helping people work through complex problems. Running, cheering on the Denver Broncos and fishing (at his cabin at Red Feather Lakes) are among Bryan’s favorite things—that said, he finds it hard to find anything better than enjoying the open road on his Harley.
