As an urban designer with over 20 years of experience, Simon believes that urban design creates successful places and influences the way in which people live, improving their quality of life. He manages and leads projects across the housing-led and mixed-use regeneration sectors. From a strategic level to the supporting of outline applications, he has expertise leading all aspects of significant projects and providing design solutions for complex and challenging sites.
Simon is responsible for liaison with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and the co-ordination of design and technical project teams. Learning from design workshops and consultation events with stakeholders and the public, he’s seen that dynamic and positive engagement exercises can positively contribute to shaping future development—and he strives to fully understand the client's requirements and achieve the optimal design solution for every project.
When he’s not successfully leading urban design solutions, Simon enjoys cycling and spending most of his time with his family and dog. He keeps healthy by attending his local Dojo five mornings a week for high impact training and martial arts.
