Prioritizing and enabling technology-transfer through policy, institutional, and organizational reforms
Our goal with the African Climate Technology Finance Center and Network Mitigation Framework Agreement is two-fold; first, to address barriers related to technology transfer; second, to support countries adopt pro-climate policies.
Enhancing the existing environment to enable climate change technology transfer is one of the main challenges in the Sub-Saharan African countries involved in this project, which seeks to address barriers related to technology transfer. We were asked to provide advisory services and inform how to mobilize financing, laying the groundwork for knowledge dissemination, institutional and organizational reforms, and the integration of climate change technologies with investment programs and projects.
By providing incentives for investors and assisting in the implementation of climate change mitigation technologies, we aim to enable an environment conducive to investments developing climate resiliency in the energy sector.
