Creating an entrance that makes a statement

Arthrex, a global medical device company, was looking to revitalize its corporate headquarters and wanted a design with the wow factor. They hired Stantec to make the magic happen.

Our team provided site improvements for the 4.7-acre project that included a new main entry drive, 130 additional parking spaces, enhanced landscaping, entry water feature, hardscape, accent lighting, supporting utilities, and water management facilities.

We focused on native South Florida landscaping with flowers accents as highlights. Water management retention areas, treated with littoral tree and grass species, create a natural setting and help filter stormwater runoff. An undulating sidewalk with benches and low-level lighting makes for a pedestrian-friendly environment. The entry water/sign feature includes a 6” thick polymer logo set above a raised basin pool with clear polymer walls to create a sense that the logo is floating.

By staying true to local vegetation, incorporating sustainable features, and providing high-functioning/low-maintenance elements, we created an entrance befitting this local manufacturing company.
