When G5 Outdoors, a hunting equipment retail giant, was developing a new retail store in the heart of Florida, they needed someone on their team that could oversee construction, fast track the schedule, and manage a strained budget. Our Project Management team served as the owner’s representative and provided assessment, budget and schedule management, construction management, and pre-occupancy/occupancy planning services.
One unique challenge of the project was the timing of our role: we were brought in mid-construction. Our job? Help refine the budget and schedule, and then put a plan in place that matched the client’s expectations. Gaining a new client’s trust is no easy feat, but with our team’s expertise in managing the most complex projects, we were able to develop a rapport and get the project back on its original track.
Through effective management techniques, our team was able to streamline the schedule and project budget, while simultaneously working to help track and review pay applications and manage various consultants.
The project was completed on time and on budget and is a testament of how our Project Management team effectively impacts a project (regardless of timing when onboarded), and can develop a strong relationship with even the newest of clients.
