Call it fresh. Call it new. Call it re-energizing. Downtown Austin, Texas, has a different vibe, and it has something to do with the JW Marriott Hotel.
This luxury hotel is the culmination of our client's vision to rejuvenate a downtown city block in Austin, Texas. Located at the corner of 2nd and Congress, two blocks away from the Austin Convention Center and close to nearly 200 live music venues, the hotel is the largest in the city, offering 1,012 rooms, a 27,000-square-foot (2,500-square-metre) exhibition hall, a 63,000-square-foot (5,800-square-metre) ballroom, and 46,000 square feet (4,300 square metres) of meeting and event space. The $300-million project also features an Italian restaurant, high-energy bar, comfortable lounge, coffee shop, and walk-up burger bar.
With this project, and our engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture team’s help, our client is able to take Austin’s luxury hotel amenities to the next level, bring renewed energy to the local community, and make downtown an exciting place to be.
