Alistair joined our team in 2007 and is now a director based in Reading. He’s widely experienced in the use of all current structural materials (steel, concrete, masonry, and timber) as well as historic materials and forms of construction. His project experience, working for both private and public sector clients and contractors, has included industrial facilities, offices, university teaching and residential buildings, and public school facilities as well as the refurbishment of existing and listed buildings.
His professional experience in different forms of construction and his understanding of the pricing, sequencing, and specific constraints associated with different clients and procurement routes enables him to add significant value to projects. Overseas projects in the Middle East and South East Asia have included motor sport facilities, hotels, large mixed-use multi-storey developments, underground railway stations, chemical plants, and pumping stations.
When he isn’t at work, Alistair enjoys getting out and seeing the world. Whereas activities at home include gardening and DIY. Alistair is also a keen cyclist, having undertaken challenges in the UK and Europe.
