Susan collaborates with teams across the UK and Ireland to shape and implement social value throughout Stantec’s operational activities. By working with our sustainability experts, corporate leaders and local teams, she oversees and advises on the delivery of our social value commitments across our projects in the built environment, water and energy sectors. Susan is also responsible for leading and managing social value-related monitoring and analytics for the business.
More broadly, Susan has worked with a number of stakeholders to develop thinking on social value. As Chair of the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership with University of Reading, she collaborated with a range of specialists to deliver Better Places – an innovative approach to delivering social value outcomes.
Over the course of Susan’s career across the private and public sector, she has launched new products, built and managed teams through business transformation and contributed to policy development.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys swimming in the sea and inventing new recipes from random ingredients. She loves recycling and hates waste.
