A social impact and engagement consultant, Rachel’s varied background includes civil engineering, transport planning, equalities consultancy and youth engagement.
Over the course of her career, Rachel has provided inclusive design advice and equalities impact assessment on a variety of schemes, from major highways improvements to the redevelopment of a university campus. Currently, she is advising on various projects regarding the ways in which social value can be added throughout the project lifecycle, from inclusive design to educational site visits for local communities during construction, to facilitating the resident voice during operation.
Schools outreach and STEM engagement are very important to Rachel, and she has previously created and delivered a range of workshops and activity sessions within educational environments. In her spare time, she loves to dance and do yoga, and she is a qualified fitness instructor with a passion for improving inclusivity in the fitness space.
