Dougie leads our Transport Business across the United Kingdom including teams in Transport Planning, Economics and Appraisal, Transport Modelling, Transport Technology and Infrastructure Design.
As a director, Dougie is passionate about building client relationships and developing solutions to complex problems. He has extensive experience managing or directing multidisciplinary projects, frameworks and term contracts—particularly where civil engineering, planning and environment disciplines are involved. Dougie is also skilled at project planning, budget management, economic appraisal and public and stakeholder consultation. He has been very involved with the Glasgow City Region City Deal, leading work for West Dunbartonshire Council’s City Deal project, the Exxon site at Bowling, a challenging multidisciplinary project.
When he’s not at work, Dougie likes to get active—you’ll often find him hiking, cycling, and going to the gym.
