As planning director, Graeme is a qualified town planner with extensive experience in the private sector. He has a comprehensive understanding of retail, residential and mixed-use planning issues, and handles a wide variety of planning applications and Development Plan submissions.
Graeme frequently works within multidisciplinary teams and often in a lead consultant and coordinating role, specialising in planning strategy and the delivery of projects both for the public and private sectors. Some notable projects he’s worked on include securing permission for a new 15 storey, 248 co-living development in Hounslow town centre (following a four day appeal inquiry), the redevelopment of Stanley Square Shopping Centre, and ongoing asset management advice to pension funds, primarily in relation to retail parks, managed shopping centres and industrial estates across the United Kingdom.
Outside of work, Graeme enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son’s football team and mountain biking—preferably downhill!
