This global survey of 100 global cities from ESI ThoughtLab, co-sponsored by Stantec, reveals a roadmap to smart city best practices

Building a Hyperconnected City is a year-long global study of 100 metro centers using technology to improve, connect, and secure areas of their urban ecosystem. The study shows how cities can go beyond current smart solutions to become “hyperconnected” hubs generating economic, social, and environmental benefits by linking key elements of their urban landscape—including transportation, public health, energy, water, security, and sustainability.

The study was co-sponsored by Stantec and other industry leaders.

Stantec is an industry leader in smart city projects that make communities vibrant, healthy, and resilient. Projects include the Sidewalk Labs Master Innovation Development Plan, Evolv1—the first commercial building to achieve NetZero energy, and the Canadian Supercharger Network Deployment.
